Bio

The first story I ever wrote featured a monkey that went to get some ice cream. It finished on a cliffhanger (I had simply left the last sentence unfinished). I was six years old and thankfully things have improved since then. I have always loved writing stories, and in 2016 I decided I'd really love to take it further. So I enrolled on an MA in Creative Writing at Birkbeck University. The degree helped shape the way I write, and gave me opportunities to be published. In 2017, I had two short stories published. It was also on the MA that my first novel, The Unmuting, was born.

Since graduating I have finished my novel alongside full time teaching, getting married, and having my first child. I am now querying agents in a bid to become a published novelist.
